Easter camping

Easter is the great shakedown weekend of the camping year: the first proper trip after winter, lambs in every field, blossom starting along the hedgerows and evenings just about long enough for a fire before bedtime. Is it warm enough to camp at Easter in the UK?

Days are often lovely but nights regularly drop to low single figures, even freezing. Pack winter-rated sleeping bags, insulate well from the ground, add layers rather than loose bedding for little ones, and choose a site with heated facilities.
